WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As a Project Engineer, you will work with our team to assist in the planning and execution of installations on commercial and residential properties for railings, bolt-on balconies, sunshades, privacy screens, pergolas, louvered roofing systems, large format screens, custom designs, and other ornamental metals across the greater Seattle Area.

Please note that candidates without a driver license and a clean driving record will not be considered for this role.

This is an in-office position that will require daily travel to Edmonds, WA. You will be responsible for the duties below, as well as other duties as assigned:

  • Expertly and efficiently manage day-to-day aspects of assigned projects from start to finish by establishing, maintaining and monitoring milestones on-time and within budget including:
  • Assessing initial project contract and supporting documents for completeness
  • Quoting, bidding and providing estimates for projects
  • Adjust to desired specs and/or conflicts and scheduling issues
  • Design, develop and review drawings and specs for project materials, including pre-fabricated and international materials
  • Develop and manage project schedule, pay applications, project procedures (including safety), staffing requirements, and desired equipment resources
  • Schedule support staff and manage crews of 1-5 members while utilizing strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a highly collaborative environment. This will include project/site safety reviews to be conducted as needed, or weekly while engaging staff in safety meetings and project/safety review meetings
  • Oversee and coordinate teams to identify and negotiate any proposed change orders in coordination with Beehaven Leadership
  • Lead internal/External communications and resolve inefficiencies and conflicts within the team and/or project quickly
  • Participate in job-site needs, including assisting the install crew as needed
  • Lead project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and work with management to resolve project claims expertly

Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:

  • A Bachelors in Project Management (required)
  • 5+ years experience in Construction Project Management (commercial required, residential preferred)
  • 5+ years of blueprint reading
  • 2-3 years of leadership/people management experience
  • 2-3 years of expert field measure experience (required)
  • 1-3 years of experience working with architectural metals and railing systems (required)
  • OSHA 30 (required within your first 90 days)
  • Experience with Buildertrend, ProCore, BlueBeam, ArcSite, HubSpot
  • 1-3 years welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
