WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As a Warehouse Driver/Fabricator, you will work on a small warehouse team supporting our construction teams in the installation of prefabricated products on buildings across the Greater Seattle area.
THE DETAILS:
Please note that candidates without a driver license and a clean driving record will not be considered for this role.
- 25% Fabrication duties (with the intent to grow).
- Inspects incoming and outgoing shipments, supplies and glass, processing damages and initiating claims.
- Implements inventory control, including checking out tools for worksites, new hires, and other internal customers.
- 20% of travel to other sites, including commercial and residential locations as needed.
- Picks, packs and ships orders, avoiding stock outs or excess inventory.
- Maintains warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems; scheduling routine maintenance, performing equipment inspections, and arranging timely repairs and replacements as needed.
- Assists the Plant Operations Manager by continuously improving warehouse operations by workflow analysis, identification of bottlenecks/inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs and mistakes.
- Collaborates with other teams to ensure daily job packages are prepped and staged for on-time deliveries.
- Identifies potential hazards, and recommends/implements improvements to standardized procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Shift availability Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (required).
- 1-2 years of forklift (required).
- 1+ years of blueprint reading (required).
- 1-2 years of metal fabrication (required).
